To maintain the highest quality of care, I do not participate directly with any insurance plans. However, this does not mean you can't use your insurance for services like anxiety treatment, depression therapy, substance misuse counseling, trauma therapy, or virtual therapy, nor does it imply that you won't be reimbursed. At your request, I can provide a statement of services to help you seek reimbursement from your insurance company independently. Often, your carrier will cover a significant portion of the costs associated with these services.
To understand your coverage benefits for anxiety treatment or other therapies, I recommend contacting your carrier to inquire about their reimbursement for 'out-of-network' psychotherapy services. Here are some questions to ask your insurance provider:
- Do I have out-of-network behavioral health benefits?
- What is my deductible?
- What percentage of the doctor's fees will the insurance company reimburse?
- Is there a session limit for behavioral health services?
2022 'No Surprises Act' & Good Faith Estimate: Since my practice does not participate with any insurance plans, you have the right to receive a Good Faith Estimate of expected charges. Please see the notice of your rights under this law: here.
