Depression and Anxiety

Dr. Donnelly helps clients process the emotional distress caused by depression and anxiety. She provides a supportive and compassionate space for clients to learn skills and navigate these challenging emotions. Her treatment approaches include Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP/EXRP) for OCD.

Trauma Therapy

Trauma therapy sessions are designed to help clients heal from the effects of trauma, such as PTSD, childhood abuse, and sexual assault. She employs evidence-based methods like Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT), Prolonged Exposure (PE), Skills Training in Affect and Interpersonal Regulation (STAIR), and Written Exposure Therapy (WET). These therapies support clients in processing their trauma, developing coping skills for managing symptoms, and building a satisfying life.

Alcohol and Substance Misuse

Sessions are designed to support clients in achieving their goals in substance misuse counseling. Whether your aim is to abstain from or reduce substance use, she utilizes motivational and evidence-based strategies to promote sustainable change. The modalities offered include Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Motivational Interviewing (MI).

Additionally, she is trained in Invitation to Change (ITC) and CRAFT (Community Reinforcement and Family Training)—proven strategies designed to help you support a loved one struggling with alcohol or substance us

Fees & Payment

Prioritizing your needs and long-term wellness isn't always easy when faced with the many demands of a busy life. However, investing in your health, relationships, and overall quality of life through effective anxiety treatment, depression therapy, or trauma therapy is the best decision you can make for your future. You deserve to make your wellness a priority.

My fees are commensurate with my expertise and years of experience. I accept various payment methods, including electronic payments via Zelle, Paypal, Venmo, credit card, HSA, or FSA for your convenience. Please contact me to discuss my fees, which vary based on the service provided, including substance misuse counseling and virtual therapy options.

I offer a complementary 15-minute telephone consultation to all prospective new patients. This call allows us to briefly discuss your reasons for seeking therapy, address any questions you might have, and assess whether we’d be a good fit to work together. Send me a message below to schedule.

Insurance

To maintain the highest quality of care, I do not participate directly with any insurance plans. However, this does not mean you can't use your insurance for services like anxiety treatment, depression therapy, substance misuse counseling, trauma therapy, or virtual therapy, nor does it imply that you won't be reimbursed. At your request, I can provide a statement of services to help you seek reimbursement from your insurance company independently. Often, your carrier will cover a significant portion of the costs associated with these services.

To understand your coverage benefits for anxiety treatment or other therapies, I recommend contacting your carrier to inquire about their reimbursement for 'out-of-network' psychotherapy services. Here are some questions to ask your insurance provider:

- Do I have out-of-network behavioral health benefits?

- What is my deductible?

- What percentage of the doctor's fees will the insurance company reimburse?

- Is there a session limit for behavioral health services?

2022 'No Surprises Act' & Good Faith Estimate: Since my practice does not participate with any insurance plans, you have the right to receive a Good Faith Estimate of expected charges. Please see the notice of your rights under this law: here.
